Joanna grew up in eastern Arkansas where she was exposed to a diverse range of musical influences. She attended The Juilliard School in New York City on a full scholarship and after moving back to Nashville, Joanna landed an exclusive songwriting deal with EMI. From her shows at the Ryman Auditorium to the Bull Pen Lounge and clubs all over Nashville Joanna has built a legion of hardcore fans. After seeing her perform renowned producer Paul Worley signed her to Warner Bros. records. Her songs have been recorded by artists from LeAnn Rimes to Beyonce.
